I started out approaching Spiritual things from the Law of Attraction side. The Law of Attraction is pretty simple: think or desire it, speak or write it down, it will be attracted to your life. It also states that when there is strong emotion your desire will be attracted quicker.
So, recently I was reading a Sylvia Browne Book. God, Creation, and Tools for Life (Journey of the Soul Series: Book 1). The book was talking about how Mother God is the emotional side of God.
First, the book made me think about the Law of Balance/Polarity. Opposites are different degrees of the same thing. Example: hate and love are both obsessions. This applies to God, where we might think that emotion and intellect are opposites, they are not. They are both the same thing. They are both God. They are different degrees of the same God.
Second the book made me think a little deeper about Mother God. It said that Mother God works through emotion and that you can petition her to change things in your life. I was like, “Wait a minute the Law of Attraction works through an emotional guidance system.” It went on to say that Mother God deals out the karma. I was like, “Wait a minute, I have always associated Karma with the Law of Attraction. We get back what we put out there.”
For both of these to be a piece of the grand puzzle, they have to fit together. I had to meditate on it for a bit. Coming out of that meditation I now realize that the Law of Attraction works through Mother God. She picks up on the strong emotion in the desire phase and, like a mother, she helps fulfill the desires of her children. She helps maintain the balance of everything through karma.
